One company was hurting, and employees were extremely unmotivated. Something had to be done to reverse the chaos. No one, however, wanted to assume anything. On the contrary, people just complained that things were going bad and that there was no prospect of progress in the company. One day, when employees arrived to work, they found a sign on the entrance that read: "The person who prevented your growth in the company died yesterday. You are invited to the wake at the sports court." Everyone was curious to know which person had been hindering their growth in the company. And they went there to see. As the staff approached the coffin, excitement increased:
"Who was hindering my progress?" Good thing this unfortunate man died.
One by one, the staff, agitated, approached the coffin, looked into it and swallowed, then fell into utter silence, as if they had been struck deep in their souls. A mirror had been placed in the casket display.
The moral of the story: There is only one person who can limit your growth and that of the company: yourself.
