The Hot Dog Seller

A man lived by the roadside and sold hot dogs. He had no radio and could not read newspapers, but in return he sold delicious hot dogs. He put up a sign by the roadside announcing the merchandise, and stood there, shouting as someone passed:
- Look at the special hot dog !!!

And people bought. As a result, he increased the order of bread and sausages and ended up building a good grocery store. So he sent for his prodigy son, who was studying at a university in the big, evolved, modern city, to help him run the business. From then on something happened. The literate son came and said:

- Dad, haven't you heard the radio? Haven't read newspapers? There is a very serious crisis, and the international situation is very dangerous!

At this, the father thought:

- My son studied at the University! Listens to the radio, reads newspapers and is on TV, so you must know what you are saying!

And then she cut back on bread and sausage orders, took out the roadside sign, and didn't stop there, touting her hot dogs. Sales dropped overnight, and he said to his convinced son:

- You were right, my son, the crisis is really serious !!!!

Moral of the story: Marketing is critical to the success of a business.
