"I can't climb that hill," said the little boy. - It's impossible. What will happen to me? I will spend my whole life here at the foot of the hill. It's too terrible!
- What a shame! said the sister. - But look, little brother! I found a great joke! Take a step and see if you can leave a very clear footprint on the ground. Look at mine! Now see if you can make one that good!
The little boy took a step.
- Mine is the same!
- You think? said the sister. - Look mine again here! I do stronger than you, because I'm heavier and so the grip gets deeper. Try again.
"Mine is as deep as yours now!" shouted the little boy. - Look! This, this and this, are as deep as possible!
"Yeah, that's fine," said her sister, "but now it's my turn, let me try again and we'll see!"
They went on, step by step, comparing the footsteps and laughing at the cloud of gray dust rising between their bare fingers.
After a while the little boy looked up.
"Hey," he said, "we're up the hill!"
- Wow! said the sister. - We really are.
Moral of the story: To accomplish big goals, try to break them down into small goals, fulfilling them one by one.
