Seeing with other eyes

One day a wealthy father took his son to travel inland with the firm purpose of showing how poor people can be.

They spent a day and a night on the farm of a very poor family.

When they returned from the trip, the father asked his son:

- How was the trip?

- Very good, daddy!

- Did you see how people can be? - the father asked.

- Yes.

- And what did you learn? - the father asked.

The son answered:

- I saw that we have a dog at home, and they have four. We have a pool that reaches the middle of the garden; they have a stream that has no end. We have a covered and lighted porch, they have the stars and the moon. Our backyard goes to the entrance gate, they have an entire forest.

When the little boy finished answering, his father was stunned.

The son added:

- Thanks dad, for showing me how "poor" we are!

MORAL OF THE STORY
Everything you have depends on how you look at things. If you have love, friends, family, health, good mood and positive attitudes to life, you have everything! If you are "poor in spirit" you have nothing!
